Brian Morin, Ph.D.

Co-Founder & CEO

Dr. Brian Morin is the CEO and founder of Soteria Battery Innovation Group and the President and co-Founder of Dreamweaver.  He is a serial entrepreneur, having founded Innegrity LLC in 2004 and served as its CEO until 2010.  He is an inventor on over 200 patents and applications. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in materials physics from The Ohio State University.  He received his B.S. degree in physics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and was in the fourth graduating class of the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.

Carl Hu

Co-Founder & CTO

Carl Hu is the CTO of Soteria Battery Innovation Group. He started his career at General Motors electronics division, Delco, and progressed through RCA and Motorola and then into Lithium Ion batteries with Enerdel and International Battery where he served both companies as Director of Engineering.  He has a BS-EE from University of Illinois and a MS-EE from Michigan Technological University. Mr. Hu is the holder of 2 patents and several publications including a book on electric vehicles.

Dirk Van Hyning, Ph.D.

Chief Commercial Officer

Dirk Van Hyning, Ph.D. is the Chief CommercialOfficer of Soteria Battery Innovation Group.  He spent 15 years at Milliken & Company, one of the largest private textile companies in the world.  His last role , before joining Soteria was as CEO and Managing Director of Alexium, Inc, a publicly-listed chemical company on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX).  Dirk has a BS in Chemical Engineering from North -Carolina State University and holds MS and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Illinois-UC. ​

European Consortium Director

Juergen Kellner, Ph.D. is the European Consortium Director of Soteria Battery Innovation Group. Juergen has spent 20 years as a Senior R&D leader, and has over 10 years of experience in the non-wovens industry.

Amy Brinson

Marketing & Communications Representative

Amy Brinson is the Marketing & Communications Representative at Soteria Battery Innovation Group. She studied the arts at the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities and the University of New Hampshire, where she earned her B.A. Her career has focused on customer service and management. She is certified in preparing lithium batteries for transportation.

Maddy Cox

Sales Representative

Maddy Cox received her B.S. in Sports and Recreation Management with a Business Minor from James Madison University. She brings her skills ins sales, coordinating and client relationships to the Soteria Team.
